My Baby Daddy

I have to take a second and tell JBJ happy fathers day ans that I love him so much. You a great dad to both of the kids and I am so happy that I married you and we have our little family-you mean the world to me, I can't believe that it has almost been 8 years and I have loved almost every moment of it. LOVE YOU!

TROUBLE with a capital everything!

So as I mentioned in the previous blog my kids are a little on the crazy side and they do not have a fear of things that could possibly cause them bodily harm. When Pacey was about how old Tenley is right now he was quietly playing in his room so we went to see what he was doing and found that he had pushed his car garage to gain access to the top of the basketball hoop-that was just the beginning-and today JBJ went down to the toyroom to find Tenley at what we will call her beginning which consisted of her climbing on top of the table that the TV is on and sitting on the DVD player-Oh the years that I have ahead of me with that girl I am hoping that I won't want to kill her in a few years-we'll see.

A day at Lagoon

Yesterday we all went to Lagoon and had a grand old time-my kids are hillarious they are afraid of no ride. JBJ had Tenley and he proceeded to put her on about every ride he could and she did not even flinch, which I should have guessed after we walked into Lagoon and she sat a laughed at everything that she saw for about the first 10 minutes. Pacey is my total crazy man though-he has zero fear of rides if he is tall enough he goes on it-this year he was tall enough for the Colassus and there was not even a second thought about it even after her saw the two hoops in it. We had a really fun time even if JBJ and Jared were not man enough to ring the bell on the strong man game but whatever-it was fun.

Pacey is hillarious!

So Pacey says the funniest things all the time and I forget them after about a week so I figured this time I would write it down. So JBJ's birthday was Tuesday and this morning JBJ went down stairs because Pacey was down there making a ton of noise and waking me up at 6:45, when he went down there Pacey had made him one of his infamous crafts. JBJ opened it and it was two pages taped together with stickers and colored pictures. So this is how the conversation went down-

JBJ-"Thanks bud I am going to take it upstairs and read it later."

Pacey- "You can't read it there is no words, there is only pictures."

JBJ- "Well why didn't you write any words."

Pacey- "Don't you know dad a picture is worth a thosand words."

I have no idea where he gets this stuff but the kid is so funny.

To the park

It finally decided to be warm in Utah so I took the kids to the park with Brittany and Tenley was hilarious. Tenley was at first not wanting to be in the sand then she decided it was fun and started to climb on the jungle gym I went to search for her and she was in a tunnel laughing that she was hiding from me it was really cute, so I had to share the picture. Yes that is sand on her face she had to just give it a taste.

After the Valentines rant of '08 I figured that I should also write of JBJ doing something good. My day started with getting to sleep in an extra hour and then being woken up to flowers and breakfast in bed. After eating and sitting around for a bit I decided that I was tired and I needed a nap so JBJ took over kid duty while I had a nice nap, after waking from my nap he proceeded to give me a full pedicure-which was so awesome I thought I might die. This is not the end, I went to teach my lesson at church and JBJ stayed home and cleaned the whole house-even making the bed. So I just had to give him some props because I love him so much. Also gotta give a shot out to Pacey for all the homemade handy crafts that he is so skilled at and I have no idea where to put.

Prepare yourself for some complaining.

Everyone don't get me wrong I do enjoy yard work but.......it is NEVER ENDING! I feel like every Saturday is spent working on a yard that I really don't even like all that much(I need about eight hundred more plants and lush grass to really like it. My other gripe is that my two children have ruined my back for the rest of my life-I am having problems even mowing the lawn now and that is not good. Despite all of my whining though I am proud that I do try to have a good yard on a very slim budget and don't worry my garden is going to be awesome this year and that is what I really care about( I will put up some pics once it starts growing and you will see).
