4x4 Truck show

We decided to brave the mullets, second hand smoke, and cutoff shirts(luckily it was chilly) to go to the 4x4 truck show at my dads school. We all had a great time looking at all of the jacked up trucks and watching the trucks try and ballance on a teeter totter type thing. It is always fun to go to these free things a good actvity for the kids.

Amber Alert!

So Pacey has a radio that he listens to at night when he goes to bed and keeps it on all night while he sleeps. The other night he came up to our room to tell us that he had a bad dream, so he laid down on our couch and fell back asleep. I am always interested to see what his nightmares are about because they are a little on the hilarious side, so that morning I asked him what his nightmare had been about. He told me that as he was laying there one of those stolen kid things(amber alert) had come on the radio and said there was a blonde haired boy with blue eyes, wearing pajamas missing. He told me it made him wake up because he thought that it was him, when I asked why it was still scary when he woke up and was in his bed-all he said was I thought it was me. I laughed for a good five minutes and then laughed again when I called JBJ and told him the story.

It was his 60TH BIRTHDAY!!

I am a little slow in blogging this but I will do it anyway. Last thursday was my dads 60th birthday and we thought it would be fun to throw him a suprise birthday party like 5 days before(I know we are procrastinators), we got it all set up anyway and then hoped for the best-my mom is a horrible liar and she just kept telling him more and more random things to cover it up-we were a little worried. It ended up working really good and it was a surprise to him. We all love him some much and are so proud of what a great example of hard work he is to all of us. It is always so fun to have these kind of situations with him because it is all about him and we get to see all the people that love and respect him and it makes all our pride swell.Love you dad!

Free Whore.

I started school about 3 months ago, and I am having a great time. A couple weeks after I started they closed down the salon portion so that they could remodel it, well while they have been doing this we have had classes on all different things. This has been a gold mine for me-no one is ever willing to volunteer so I always do. Here is the list of every thing that I have had done:
Eyelashes Permed
Eyelashes Tintes
Eyebrows Tinted
Back Facial
Hot stone back massage(so fun being naked in front of everyone)
Acrylic Nails
and finally a facial peel
The salon opens back up on wednesday and though I am happy to be doing hair again I am sure going to miss all the free pampering.

Conversations with Tenley part deux

Amazingly enough Tenley was down in the toy room playing quietly with her dolls while I was upstairs sewing yesterday. She came upstairs with a doll fork and said
"Baby needs a nack"
I said alright and got her a bowl of snacks(which she didn't even pretend to feed her baby-she just ate it all). When she had finished she came and asked for more and I told her,
"No more snacks we are going to eat lunch in a little while"
Tenley-"Ok Mama"
Two minutes later she comes in holding her baby and says
"Mom, what babies name"
Me-"I don't know what do you want her name to be?"
Tenley-"Name"
Me-"Um how about Abby?"
Tenley-"yah Abby".

Tenley: "Hey mom guess what?"
Me: "What Tenley"
Tenley: "beba jeebs ajig gabba-ha ha ha"
Me: "cool"
