Summer summary

Our summer was slightly boring so I don't have a whole bunch to share, so I thought I would do a summary of my summer. We always have the grand Bear Lake trip and my sister Brittany was able to come down for it-which was so great because I haven't seen her in a year. We had a great time up there boating, wave running, swimming, and seeing people dig there boats out of the lake-good times. Brittany stayed the next week and we decided to make crafts, because Brittany loves them so much and got a bunch of cute stuff made. We also took a family trip

to Boondocks and had a great time there also. These are the big things of this summer-what a party huh?

Good Choices.

I turned my back for 2 minutes and Pacey picked these babies up for $6-a piece, I think it was a solid allowance choice. I actually think that Masons stopped lighting up while we were at the fireworks.

Festivities!!

Yep we hit multiple 4th of July festivites it is JBJ's favorite holiday and it could not be missed! We started our day off heading to the Kaysville party we caught the end of the parade-which we are going to make a point to make it there next year-that parade is crazy kids had bags of candy and toys by the end of the parade-although the rest of the festivites-not so amazing. The kids had fun on the bouncing things and I spent $7 on a flavorless navajo taco.After they played for a bit we headed home but JBJ was angry that he did not get the "fair" food that he was looking for so we went over to Clearfield days. When we got there what we found was a fair food smorgasborg-we got some of these babies:

Yes the top picture is what is called ribbon fries-and yes they were A-Mazing-JBJ got what he wanted and his 4th of July was not ruined. We stayed there for the fireworks and the kids made fireworks caves with blankets and had a great time.

Sorry to the 3 of you that are readers of the blog but I just am not feeling the whole blogging thing as of lately. This summer is a little crazy I am able to take the final class that I need at school so I am doing a whole lot of this:

I have to go to school everyday now so my summer is not as exciting as my kids would like it to be. I am also trying to plan a girls camp and all the fun things that come with that, I am my wards camp director. It makes me a little sad that we have to practically beg these girls to come-when I was their age you just went there was no question about-crazy. So I am sorry if any of you are missing my random stories, they may come a little more frequently after this crazy summer.

Kids Fair

I kept seeing the commercials for a kids fair that they were having at Cherry Hill, and I am a sucker for these money sucking pits. The kids had fun thought so that is what matters-the problem was as we were walking in reptile man was the first thing that we saw I almost turned around and left but of course my kids were all about it and Tenley was about riding the boa constrictor.
My favorite part of the day was when Tenley saw Snow White and ran as fast as she could to go and hug her(we need a Disneyland trip asap)I also enjoy watching Pacey rock climb he is a natural at and it is fun to watch him

Work PARTAY!

Well I wouldn't really say partay-because it was raining and freezing cold, but my kids enjoy any place where they get garbage toys from oriental trading that they can cherish for a week then my OCD kicks in and they get trashed.

Shaniqua hair

I decided it would be fun to give long hair a try because my hair does not grow to a long length without becoming stringy and nasty-so I thought I would give extensions a try for the heck of it. It was quite fun for a minute until about a week in and my husband said "you should take out that Shaniqua hair and give me my Marlee back" I decided at that point to take them out(and to be honest they were driving me crazy).
