St. Jeezey

My friend from beauty school got married down in St. George and asked me and my other friends if we could come and do the wedding parties hair, so we packed up and headed down to St. George for the weekend. My kids week consisted of swimming, swimming, and more swimming.

We yanked them out of the pool and forced them to go to the wedding but they ended up having a good time because she had a photo booth and I am pretty sure Pacey took about a hundred pictures but it was way fun.

Looooong Post with lots of pics!

JBJ had to go up to Oregon to train some of his employees up there so I tagged along and played with my sister for a week-it was rough:). On ou way up there we ran in to two accidents that closed the road for 4 hours!! So we turned around and took the other way which is a mountain pass-after being told by the locals that it was a bad idea but we thought we were Utahns and we know snow-Oregonians don't know snow! Well we should have listened multiple times I was white knuckling it and almost had a panic attack then as when head up into a canyon the road was closed again and we couldn't turn around so we sat in the car for 2 hours and 15 minutes it was a total cluster />

I took pictures to ease my anxiety a little bit and these kids were troopers I was so proud of them. We finally made it to Sherwood after me nearly offing myself in the car. We had never been to Canon beach so we decided that on Sunday we would head up there and go to the Tillimook factory on the way-because I love me some pricey cheese. We took the tour and taste tested a bunch of cheese then had some of there lovely ice cream(even though no one is as good as Farr's I am just gonna put that out there).

After we left the factory we headed over the hill to Canon beach it is the beach that they filmed Goonies at and the rocks in the water are amazingly beautiful-but it was FREEZING cold the kids flew kites and looked in the tide pools and JBJ,Pacey, and McKay found a couple of hermit crabs that I actually held and it was disgusting. Kaden and his friend decided to hop in the water and die of hypothermia and I took pictures of their stupidity! Tenley I think had the best time though she sat wrapped in two blankets on my lap the whole time it was a party.

We found out that their mall had a Lego store and an H&M so we made a trip to the mall so Pacey could pray to his Lego God-he had a great time.

The day before we left we had to go into crazy Portland we had grand plans but once again it was freezing so we cut the party a little bit and just went to VooDoo doughnuts and try a couple of their infamous doughnuts, Pacey got the VooDoo which was a robot with a pretzel in the heart and raspberry filling in the center we also had to get the maple with the bacon on top-I thought it was disgusting but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. After we got our doughnuts we headed to a place that was on Diners Drive Ins and Dives and had the best sliders I have ever eaten.

We were all a little sad to go I miss my sister so much all the time but it is fun to be able to go up to Oregon and take in all of its amazing beauty!

Home Depot

Pacey makes sure that every month we head over to Home Depot and make the free thing that you build-which means for me random crap that has no where to go-but it is so fun for them, I just chuck them when the kids are gone. In October we happened to have miss Harper staying at our house so she got to make a random thing for Megan, her and Tenley were so funny and very serious about there job.

Preschool Halloween

I was in charge of the Halloween party at preschool, and the kids were hilarious. We played games, decorated cookies, painted pumpkins, bobbed for apples, and went on a costume walk around the neighborhood.

Halloween-yep Halloween

Halloween is fun. We did the usually ate chili, snake sandwich, bread sticks, and my mom made the good old doughnuts. The kids went trick or treating and froze so they ended up doing it from Brady and Emily's van from house to house. Me and JBJ thought it would be fun to dress up so he was Frankenstein and I was the bride of Frankenstein (yes that is all my hair).

Get in shape girl

For Tenley's preschool this month she got to go to a gymnastics gym and she loved it so much. They got to play with the ribbons(reminded me of me and Megan and our awesome get in shape girl tapes), do an obstacle course, and play in a foam pit, it was super cute.

Time for the dentures.

So I turned the big 3-0 on the 11th and had an amazing day!! JBJ had me convinced that we were going to a murder mystery-which are not really my thing but I was going to play it cool because I thought it was so sweet that he had planned me a whole birthday date. As we were driving to the place he passed it and I was so worried about it and looked over to see him laughing and heading in the direction of Tepanyaki-my favortie sushi restaurant. When we got to the restaurant we pulled in and I saw a couple of my friends cars and told JBJ that my friends were there and idiot me, instead of thinking it was a surprise party I thought that my friends had gone to my favorite restaurant without me. As we pull around the corner and see another friends car I tell JBJ how rude it is that my friends went without me to that he says, "you are such a ditz". I then realized that the party was for me and laughed for probably the next 2 hours. I just have to say that my husband is the sweetest he got a hold of all of my friends and set this all up and I love him so much. Thank you to all my friends who made it special and thanks to JBJ I love you so much!
