Urealistic Expectations-Valentines Edition

I figure that since my mom always managed to make a big deal about every holiday and give us all a bunch of unrealistic expectations I will do it to my kids. On friday night I decorated the table all valentiney once the kids were in bed and planned to make stawberry crepes in the morning for breakfast-because when you make a big deal out of everything it doesn't ruin them for their future spouses at all. So when they woke up we all all had crepes and the kids got their little valentines prizes, and since it was a blizzard outside we thought it would be fun to go swimming. We went over to Clearfield pool where they have a whole little indoor splash area and a slide, which Pacey was so proud that he was finally tall enough that he could go on it by himself and proceeded to go about 10 times. Tenley just shivered the whole time and was not interested in all of the splashing that was going on-but she loved the slide and the little lazy pool. Later we went to dinner and the comedy club with Jade and Nick and laughed until we were sick-so thanks Jade and Nick (I know that you are gonna read this Jade you blog spy) so for being a stupid holiday we had a great time.

Tens is TWO!!

My baby girl is two and I can not believe it! It is so fun to have a girl to shop for, the problem is I went to the store not really having a birthday theme and came out with everything girl that I could find-so the theme of Tenleys birthday was girl. We invited all the family over for dinner and cupcakes, and had a great time. Tenley has the present opening thing down-the only problem was my sister Brittany got her a Brobee doll (yo gabba gabba) she opened that like third and didn't care to open anything else, we got her to open more but she held him the whole time. I am so happy that I have my little girl, she has more attitude than I thought was even possible but when she looks at me and says lub you mama I forget about that

Pancakes, PJ's, and Pillows

They are having a big reading contest at Paceys school, so they decided to have a pancake night and let the kids read and eat pancakes. I had to cook the pancakes so I sent Pacey and Tenley to go and join the reading groups while I did some cooking. Pacey was diligently reading the whole time while Tenley tormented him. He was really happy though because he got in a 180 minutes of reading, he was really excited to be able to mark off all those minutes. Tenley on the other hand just walked around the gym stealing kids books and pillows until JBJ got there-she is a joy!

Outift Man

No Brenn is not living at my house circa 1992. This is what I came down to find last week, Pacey decided that he did not like the outfits that I pick out for him(which is funny because he wears uniforms so there is not that big of a selection) anyway I came down to tuck him in bed and found this little outfit man. The hilarious thing for those of you who don't know my brother Brenn, is that he made this little guy like every night of his life-in fact I think I might call Kim and see if he still does it.
