Amazing Race

My friend Jillisa has pretty much the coolest family that I have ever seen, and they put together a little Layton amazing race for us to go on. We got clues and had to drive around the city to find them it was so so fun and a perfect date night. We came in 3rd but I am ok with that because I didn't have to eat crickets:)
This is me having to make a pyramid with 5 random people in Wal-Mart.

Dog Whisperer

Move over Cesar, Pacey is hot on your tail! Dogs love him, when he is gone his little Max sulks around the house and is depressed, and both his doggies sleep in his bed with him.

Pumpkin Patch

We were lucky this year to be able to do the good old hayride to the pumpkin patch with Davis Hospital, the kids had fun and the dirt was nice and muddy so my boots looked awesome after. We got to go into the patch and pick our pumpkins and all the little kids decided to pick one as big as they were so me and JBJ got to carry to huge pumpkins each-they made awesome jack-o-lanterns though.

Birthday Birthday

My cute friends threw me a little suprise party for my birthday-they are so cute and I am so happy that they let this granny hang out with them.

My baby girl is so big I can't believe how fast she has grown it makes me sad when I see a picture like this. She is my big big girl.

Tens 1st day of Preschool

I put Tenley in preschool this year because as it turns out I am not a kid person and the joy school was a flaming nightmare from hell for me, so we are both a lot happier with her going away to school.

Holy 10 years Batman.

Yes I have a ten year old and yes it freaks me out, but I would not change it for the world he is the most awesome kid that I know! We did the good old family birthday party and this year Pacey asked if we could have a big bbq so that is what we did. We love to get together with the family especially to celebrate an awesome kid like Pacey.

First day 4th grade

Pacey's first day of 4th grade I can't even believe it-I am so proud of him everyday he is so smart and works his hardest at school, we love him so much!

Davis County Fair

We love to go to the Davis County fair we do it every year and the kids always have a great time. This year JBJ won tickets to the rodeo-it had been a while since I had been to the rodeo I love the rodeo besides all the animal catching but all the timed events and the kids racing it was fun. I think that the kids had the best time in the petting zoo-Tenley is an animal freak!

Snowbird

I skipped Snowbird-I don't know how that happened but I will share now. My mom and dad decided that they were going to get a time share again at Snowbird, I spent my whole childhood going to Snowbird every summer and it is some of my fondest memories and I am so happy that my kids are going to be able to make memories up there also. We spent the week doing crafts, swimming, eating good food, and having a ton of fun! I love love love it there if you have not been up there you must go it is the most relaxing place on earth!

Bear Lake 2011 - slideshow maker with music

Our big Bear Lake summer trip this year was a little different there was NO beach it was so crazy the kids didn't get to play in the sand as much as they normally do, but on the other hand the marina was full so we didn't have to truck it out to the boat in the freezing water so that was nice. Everything was way fun my mom and dad got these little skis for kids that blow up and I didn't get a picture of Tenley on them and I am so sad about it(think those videos of squirrels skiing). It is so funny to see a kid as little as her on skiis so people on the beach were cheering for her and she took the time to wave at them-you always gotta acknowledge your fans! Pacey is the crazy one he is getting so daring that he goes on the tube with the big boys when they drive all crazy and it beats him around like a little rag doll.

Tenleys dance recital

Tenleys little dance class had their recital and the Rasmussens and nanny and papa were able to come and see it. Tenleys idea of the dance was to make sure everyone was watching her and smiling but she did awesome and she is so cute!

Tenley has been wanting to take a ballet class for a while now and I finally put her in a class, she loves it and I love it because I get to dress her up like my little ballet doll.

Lagoon

Our once yearly trip to Lagoon is always a big party the whole family goes and we make a big day of it. I didn't really get any pictures of Pacey because he was laying down the whole time we found out a couple of days later that he had pnemonia-I know we are awesome parents dragging our child around at Lagoon with pnemonia I am hoping that someone puts my name in for some kind of parenting award.

My daughter is going to be the death of me! Whoever said that girls were easier than boys has obviously not had a girl-at the moment Tenley is currently banned from lip gloss, markers, crayons, pens, and pretty much and form of writing untensil. This is the gem I came down stairs to find one day.

It is a really good thing that I can play dress up with her or I might lose my mind.
